Soothsayers spread Whitegold Influence, ensure loyalty and obedience from friendly generals and their troops, and keep your settlements and armies safe from enemy subterfuge when positioned inside them. Soothsayers can also bribe enemy settlements, garrisons, generals, and armies. They can also detect and payoff enemy agents in your territory. They are especially vulnerable to removal from the game through conversion by Apostles or Celestial Wordbearers.
